Two Devin Booker Prop Bets for Tuesday’s NBA Slate (January 22)

The Phoenix Suns and the Minnesota Timberwolves meet for the second time in three days, and we’re eyeing a couple of Devin Booker prop bets for Tuesday’s NBA slate.

Booker has been in an out of the lineup dealing with a back injury since the beginning of the month, but with at least 33 minutes played in each of this last three games, he appears to have turned the corner.

If anything, the lingering affects of his injury may be weighing down a few of his prop betting lines for tonight’s clash.

Let’s dive in.

Suns SG Devin Booker

Over 24.5 Points (-125)

Devin Booker scored 18 points when these teams met two nights ago, falling short of expectations with just 15 FG attempts and continuing his struggles from beyond the arc, going just 1-for-6 (.167) on 3-point attempts.

But he lit it up for 30 and 32 points in the two previous games, and before missing time with a back injury in early January, he had a scorching stretch where he beat this 24.5 number in nine of 11 games, including a 28-point outing against these Timberwolves in a mid-December meeting.

Minnesota ranks 22nd in opponent points per game (112) and 19th in opponent shooting percentage.

Booker is averaging exactly 24.5 points per game; he’s been a boom or bust, but the matchup advantage makes leaning towards the over a solid value.

Over 4.5 Rebounds (-105)

He racked up six boards in their most recent clash and seven in the first meeting. No surprise, as it’s another area where the Timberwolves struggle:

  • They surrender offensive rebounds 25.4 percent of the time, the fourth-worst mark in the league
  • Overall, they’ve been burned for the eighth-most rebounds per game.

Including Booker’s six-rebound line against Minnesota on Sunday, they’ve now given up five or more rebounds to an opposing guard in each of their last five games.
