Pascal Siakam Props: Heating up From 3 in Game 7?

  • Pascal Siakam props are on the docket in our look at the best NBA prop plays for tonight, September 11th
  • He and the Raptors are looking to grab Game 7 in their best-of-seven playoff series against the Celtics — tip-off at 9:10 ET

Siakam faces off against a familiar opponent in the Celtics. He’s averaged 15.2 points per game (PPG) in the six semifinals games, struggling to find his shot.

Can he find success beyond the arc versus Boston in Game 7? Let’s jump in.

NBA Props for Tonight (9/11)

Raptors Forward Pascal Siakam

Under 1.5 Three-Pointers (-121 @ DraftKings)

Pascal Siakam has been one of the disappointments of this series, and through the six games, he’s gone 4-of-31 (12.9%) from deep. The forward has only hit two or more three-pointers once in his last seven and three times out of the last 10 overall.

Spicy P has been pretty bland all series long, averaging 15.2 PPG. He’s gone 0-for-7 from three the past two games and 2-of-20 (10%) in the series’s last three games.

The Celtics allow an NBA-best 30.6% from deep in the postseason and second-best 11.4 three-pointers made, right behind the Miami Heat’s 11.3. The series has also gone under the over/under total in six-of-seven games, and Game 7s are typically low-scoring affairs, giving me even more confidence this streak will continue.

  • Compared to the semifinals versus Boston, Golden State is the only team Siakam shot worse from deep versus this entire year (0-of-7)
  • Boston is holding power forwards to 2.02 made three-pointers on the season (6th)

In the regular season versus Boston, Siakam went 1-of-5 (20%) in the second meeting and 5-of-7 (71.4%) in the first. However, it was the second overall game of the season for Toronto, so take that with a grain of salt.

It’s hard to see him hitting to in a tight, tense Game 7 environment.

This prop has hit in five-of-six (83.3%) games in the semifinals, seven-of-10 times (70%) in the postseason, and six-of-eight times (75%) versus Boston all year.
