The baseball season is somehow already one-third of the way over, and our continuing quest to pad the bankroll continues as we look at three of the top MLB props for Wednesday (5/29).
In today's slate, we'll break down the strikeout lines for one of baseball's best in that department, Rays ace Blake Snell, while also analyzing the totals for Kyle Hendricks and Giants hurler Madison Bumgarner.
Snell was a target for us the last time out, and while he just pushed, we still managed a profitable card. Meanwhile, our subscription picks are humming along at 187-139 on the season. With the season now one-third over, the price of our full-season package has been reduced by 33%. Sign up and get the first week for free, giving you even more savings.
Rays SP Blake Snell

It's a big number at 8.5 but one that Blake Snell has hit in three of his last four starts and six of 10 on the season overall. Snell is:
- Third in strikeouts per inning pitched (1.40 K/IP)
- 11th in total strikeouts (78)
- Tied for sixth-best in baseball with just 19 earned runs allowed in his 10 starts
He's striking out batters at a ludicrous 38.1% rate over his last 20 starts, averaging 12.9 strikeouts per 9 innings.
The matchup against the Jays is a good one. They strike out at the 10th-highest rate in MLB, and Snell has feasted on Toronto -- in 52 careers at-bats, the Jays are hitting just .083 against Snell while striking out 36.5% of the time.
Realize that we're going to lose this prop at 8.5Ks more often than not, but at such an attractive price, we should be +EV in the long run.
Cubs SP Kyle Hendricks
